Yuna Manase held a press conference today carried live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. She announced that she will finish as a regular member of the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling roster after the 7/23/20 show at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. She did not name an opponent for the event and more of that card will be announced later.

She said her future is uncertain and she’s getting later into her career. She said she has talked to Tokyo Joshi, STARDOM, and ACTWRES girl’z before making the announcement. She said it was time to move on to prove herself.

Tokyo Joshi is going to be having auditions to add new members to the roster. Manase encouraged women to try out because she had fun in her time with the company and she called it a wonderful locker room.

Manase was trained by Fuka and started her career in STARDOM in 2014. Her debut was on 1/12/14 in a loss to Kairi Hojo (aka Kairi Sane). She spent 2016 as a regular for ACTWRES girl’z and joined Tokyo Joshi in 2017. She defeated Natsumi Maki to win the TJPW International Princess Title on 9/16/19 and lost it to Maki Itoh on 10/19/19.

Update: Tokyo Joshi announced the match right after I originally posted this article. It will be Yuna Manase teaming up with Maki Itoh and Nodoka Tenma vs. Miyu Yamashita, Natsumi Maki, and Mizuki on 7/23/20.
