An Upper Peninsula pro-President Donald Trump group is set to embark on a caravan road trip across much of the region this Saturday, July 11.

In a report by Jack Hall of the Radio Results Network, the ‘Yoopers for Trump Road Trip‘ group will take off from the old Shopko parking lot in Escanaba and scheduled to make stops in Manistique, Munising, to Marquette and back to Escanaba.

Trip organizer Krista Kurth said this trip’s purpose is to bring and condone support for our current United States President in the U.P., even with all the events that are happening downstate.

”I seen a lot of float parades, birthday parties, motorcycles and farmers for Trump and everything else happening below the bridge and I was waiting for something to happen up here,” Kurth said. “Somebody came up to me and said, ‘why can’t you do something like this?, and we did it.’”

The trip will also have a Trump Unity Bridge to come along with them. The bridge is made by downstate Michigan resident Rob Cortis, and was built in 2016 and have visited multiple rallies before.

The trip is set to take off at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, and it is slated to end with a group get-together at the Ludington Park back in Escanaba later that night.
