Over the summer, the WWE experimented with a new workshoot segment called Raw Underground, which is essentially their version of Fight Club. It was hosted by Shane McMahon, and featured prominent superstars such as Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens and Aleister Black. It also helped introduce new talents to the WWE roster such as Jessamyn Duke, Dabba Kato and Riddick Moss.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reported that it is “considered done.” It’s been noted that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it had been put on hold. Now, with the latest draft, it’s noted that it’s a bit more difficult to maneuver the roster and that they want to keep NXT stars away from RAW.
Of course, this could change on a whim. What were your thoughts on Raw Underground?
