Now, let’s get into WrestleMania 32…

Location – AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas

Date – April 3, 2016

Attendance – 101,763

  • United States Championship – Kalisto (C) defeats Ryback

Headline – Eh, whatever, this match happened. Nothing to write home about.

Rating – 1.5 out of 5

  • 10-Women Tag-Team Match – Alicia Fox, Brie Bella, Eva Marie, Natalya and Paige defeat Emma, Lana, Naomi, Summer Rae and Tamina

Headline – Eh. This match happened, too.

Rating – 1.5 out of 5

  • Tag-Team Match – The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) vs Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von)

Headline – Another match that happened. Oof.

Rating – 1.5 out of 5

  • 7-Man Ladder Match, Intercontinental Championship – Zack Ryder defeats Kevin Owens (C), Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Sin Cara, Stardust and The Miz

Headline – It only took 4 matches but WrestleMania 32 finally has a good match under it’s belt. This was a whopper of a ladder match with several awesome spots and fan-favorite Zack Ryder would win and get one of the biggest pops of the night from the record-setting 100,000+ fans in attendance.

Rating – 4 out of 5

  • Singles Match – Chris Jericho defeats AJ Styles

Headline – Another solid match between 2 of the best in-ring workers in Wrestling history. It may have not lived quite up to the standards that these 2 normally produce, but it was a very good match that was won by Jericho after countering Styles’ “Phenomenal Fore-arm” attempt mid-air with a “Codebreaker”.

Rating – 3.5 out of 5

  • 6-Man Tag-Team Match – League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio, with Wade Barrett) defeat New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods)

Headline – A decent match between 6 very good workers but nothing to write home about. Out of the 6-men involved, it was disappointing, but it wasn’t a horrible match.

Rating – 2.5 out of 5

  • No-Holds-Barred Match – Brock Lesnar defeats Dean Ambrose

Headline – This was a Lesnar-squash match for the better part of the entire match but Ambrose hit his finishing move “Dirty Deeds” on Lesnar onto a pile of steel chairs but Lesnar would kick out at a 2-count then counter a baseball bat attack from Ambrose with an F-5 to Ambrose onto the aforementioned pile of chairs for the win. After the match, Lesnar sprayed Ambrose with a fire extinguisher.

Rating – 3 out of 5

  • Triple-Threat Match, WWE Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair (with Ric Flair) defeats Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch

Headline – This was the first ever WWE Women’s Championship match and it effectively retired the Diva’s Championship and truly started the Women’s Evolution in Professional Wrestling and rightfully so. Sasha Banks had a special entrance with real-life cousin, Snoop Dogg rapping her theme song while she entered the ring. This was a very good match and one of the best Women’s matches in WWE history. Charlotte would win after applying the figure-eight submission onto Becky Lynch and Ric Flair (who was standing at ringside) prevented Sasha Banks from breaking the submission up and Lynch would tap-out, crowning Charlotte the new WWE Women’s Championship.

Rating – 4 out of 5

Hell In A Cell Match – The Undertaker defeats Shane McMahon

Headline – This wasn’t a great match and was saved by the spot of the year…Shane McMahon jumping off of the top of the cell and landing through the announce table after Taker moved off of the table, throw Shane back in the ring and hit him with a tombstone pile-driver for the 3-count and the win.

Rating – 2.5 out of 5

  • Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal – Baron Corbin defeats Adam Rose, Big Show, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, Diamond Dallas Page, Fandango, Goldust, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Kane, Konnor, Mark Henry, R-Truth, Shaquille O’Neal, Tatanka, Tyler Breeze and Viktor

Headline – The annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal was won by Baron Corbin and was probably the worst edition of this match to-date.

Rating – 1.5 out of 5

  • WWE Championship – Roman Reigns defeats Triple H (C) (with Stephanie McMahon)

Headline – This was a pretty good match, but much like this WrestleMania, wasn’t anything to write home about. Reigns would become the new WWE Champion after countering a sledgehammer attack from HHH with a spear to get the 3-count and the title.

Rating – 3 out of 5

WrestleMania 32 Rating – 2.8 out of 5

Summary – WrestleMania 32 was WWE’s most attended event of all-time and didn’t live up to expectations for a show of that stature. The show was saved from the 7-man ladder match and the women’s triple-threat match.
