It’s that time of the year and WrestleMania is just days away. Half the fun fo watching WrestleMania is the speculation of who will win what matches, and today I’ll be providing you readers with my night one predictions! Actually, let’s change that. I’m so confident that these predictions won’t be predictions at all, but more so spoilers!

Cesaro VS Seth Rollins

This match alone has the opportunity to steal the show. Two tAlents that work very well together in the ring are very likely to burn the house down. While you never want to doubt Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, I feel fairly confident that we see Cesaro finally get his WrestleMania moment in hopes his push is sustained well after this Sunday night.

The Miz and John Morrison VS Bad Bunny and Damian Priest

Nobody plays their role better in WWE than The Miz, and damn if he is not a good sport. After winning the WWE Title from Drew McIntyre, he quickly had it ripped away from him to put it on Bobby Lashley. This more or less made Miz the quintessential transitional champion. However, he was given quite the consolation prize having the annual celebrity match with recent pop sensation, Bad Bunny. The Miz and Morrison know their roles here. Make Bad Bunny look good, lose like a true chickenshit heel would, and put Bad Bunny and his recent found success over. Meanwhile, Miz and Morrison help their post wrestling careers by getting even more publicity outside of WWE. Expect to see Bad Bunny get the pin fall, most likely over Morrison.

Women’s Tag Team Championships #1 Contender Tag Team Turmoil:
Naomi & Lana vs. Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs. The Riott Squad vs. Billie Kay & Carmella vs. Tamina & Natalya

I think the more important answer here is who cares? And if I get this one wrong, I certainly won’t lose any sleep over it. With that said, I’ve narrowed it down to Napmi/Lana and Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose. Given the winner of this will face off against Baszler and Jax for the Women’s Tag Titles on the 2nd night, I foresee Team Lana winning to help finish the story of Lana VS Jak and Baszler.

Steel Cage Match:
Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman

if Shawn McMahon wins this, we have a big problem. The WWE is an anti-bullying company, and I just can’t see how they can allow Shane to constantly call Braun stupid and allow Shane to win. The heel needs his comeuppance in this match. Further, there is a believability factor here. Does anyone think that Shane could actually win this? Zero chance.

RAW Tag Team Championship Match:
The New Day vs. AJ Styles & Omos

For whatever the reason, the New Day still exists in WWE and Vince likes it when the titles are on them. I see Woods and Kofi retaining here, but can also see Styles and Omos getting another shot at the tag titles next month. This feud is far from over and I foresee the good guys winning on the big stage.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match:
Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair

Remember last year when we all expected Rhea Ripley to defeat Charlotte Flair? I think we could possibly have the same situation on our hands here. This feud is just beginning, and Sasha Banks has been a roll lately. Belair losing to Banks on the big stage will not hurt her, especially if she gets another crack at the title next month. With that said, I’m going to make a swerve and say Belair ends up winning mainly because I don’t foresee any other titles changing hands on night one. Although I can see it going either way, I think Belair will take home the gold.

WWE Championship Match:
Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre

I’ve never been a big Bobby Lashley fan. Until this past month. They have done a great job making Lashley look strong, and I’m sorry, but the year of McIntyre was a dull one. I see this being a brutal slugfest with Lashley coming out on top, and an inevitable much needed heel turn for McIntyre in the very near future.

That’s all for now, stay tuned for Night 2 predictions… I mean spoilers!
