The honeymoon phase is over. No more “new car smell” for former ESPN sportscaster Adnan Virk. Just three weeks into his new role as lead WWE Raw commentator, Adnan Virk is getting DRAGGED by fans. He was trending Monday night during the entire three hours, and the reason is simple – he is NOT doing a good job. I say that with all due respect because I could never in a million years be a broadcaster for three hours on live television. Never. However, it’s been three weeks to get his feet wet for his new venture…and yeah, I wonder how long before they pull the plug. Here are just a few of the tweets:

Ultimately, the last tweet is correct. He is new to this. You can’t go from ESPN to WWE within at least some kind of learning curve. Of course, his critics will point to sports personality Pat McAfee doing great at the Smackdown commentary table after just beginning. He was a fan though and knows his stuff. Virk, eh, the jury is still out on that. I’d be remiss to also not mention the fact that Samoa Joe was doing great on the RAW commentary table and was released two weeks ago. Yeah. Either way, Adnan is a Nick Khan hire, and he is the new WWE executive that is apparently impressing everybody. Thus, don’t expect major changes so soon. Give him time or yeah, he will be booted.
