Hunter Pence was an outfielder in MLB for teams such as the Houston Astros, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and the Texas Rangers. He was drafted in the second round of the 2004 MLB Draft By the Houston Astro’s.

Pence is a four-time All-Star, and was a member of the 2012 and 2014 World Series championship teams with the Giants. Pence made a fair amount of money over his career and has since retired from baseball and is now married to Alexis Cozombolidis.

While I’m sure Alexis is a great catch, one has to wonder what in the heck happened to make Pence not try and lock down Shannon James. Who is Shannon James you ask? Take a look below and then maybe you’ll be asking yourself the same question.

Speaking of Hunter Pence, he mentioned in an interview earlier this week that he had only one regret in his major league career. That regret is that he never got the chance to participate in a home run derby. See what he had to say on the subject below.

“I always loved hitting BP homers,” Pence said. “I used to be a BP homer guy, that was my thing. It just never happened. It was my two things: I wanted to win the World Series and I wanted to be in the Home Run Derby. But, I’m very thankful, and honestly, as a kid, I was just like I’m going to play until they rip the jersey off me and until I can’t play anymore.”
