The Phoenix Suns have been the laughing stock of the league in terms of franchises since Steve Nash won back to back MVP’s. Even after finally getting their superstar player in the draft with Devin Booker, selecting him 13th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. But all that has recently changed, starting with finishing the bubble with a 8-0 record, and now standing 4-1 for the first time since 2009. With the signing of Chris Paul and drafting guys like Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges, it shows any franchise can take a leap with the correct moves.

Any successful team requires a smart head coach, and the addition of Monty Williams has proven that. With that being said a coach can only be as successful as his players, and with the Hall of Famer Chris Paul at the point, and young superstars like Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, this team is gonna be one to watch for years to come.

Even if you hate the Phoenix Suns, you have to be happy for a team who’s failed miserable in the draft the last decade and now having guys like Mikal Bridges, who the Philadelphia 76ers drafted with the 10th overall pick in the 2018 draft then traded to the Phoenix Suns playing the best basketball of his young career. But we shouldn’t be surprised, the addition of Chris Paul has given the young players extreme confidence and it’s working out.
