Welcome back! Week 2 did not go the way I would have liked it to go. We ended up 2-2 on the day, Cincinnati and Seattle really let me down. Especially Seattle, they had the lead the whole game and I was feeling amazing about that bet until Derrick Henry started pounding through the line and we were toast after that. All good though, even on the day and we have another wonderful Sunday of football to get things back on track.

We’ve got some unbelievable games this week to kick back, grab a cold one and watch but we also have some games that should be either blowouts or easy wins and I am about to give you those LOCKS of the week.

Baltimore Ravens(-7.5) @ Detroit Lions

The Ravens have looked like one of the best teams in football so far this season and the Lions well, the other way around. The run game for the Ravens should be plenty to get them this win but if Lamar can air it out to Mark Andrews finally, good luck Detroit. MY PLAY: Ravens -7.5

Arizona Cardinals(-7.5) @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Kyler Murray is averaging 370 passing yards throughout the first two games of the season. The Cardinals offense has been on fire and the Jaguars defense has looked like trash. Cardinals could be one of the highest scoring offenses on the day. This should be one of the easiest picks of the day. MY PLAY: Cardinals -7.5

New Orleans Saints(+3) @ New England Patriots

This game might be one of the toughest games of the day because both teams have had good and bad performances throughout their first couple games. For me, this comes down to defenses making plays and Winston and Jones. Winston being around the game longer, can understand these situations with these kinds of games. Give me the Saints, do not trust Mac Jones here against a very good Saints defense. MY PLAY: Saints +3, Saints ML

Atlanta Falcons(+2.5) @ New York Giants

It’s a pair of 0-2 teams looking for their first win of the season. I am not sure what’s going on with Barkley but he does not seem healthy to me. The Falcons have been able to move the ball and score during redzone trips but their defense can’t seem to hold. I am expecting a huge day from Matt Ryan today as well as finding his new target Kyle Pitts for a touchdown. Giants offense will struggle which should help the Falcons defense from hurting themselves. MY PLAY: Falcons +2.5, Falcons ML
