The 9th edition of the 2020 Professional Wrestling Wednesday Night War takes place, tonight. AEW has won the first 8 weeks of the ratings battles & is now poised to make it 9-straight when they take AEW Dynamite to the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Kansas City, Missouri for their “go-home” show before their big “Revolution” PPV, this Saturday night.

Let’s get into the previews…

AEW Dynamite Preview

  • AEW World Championship Weigh-In – Chris Jericho (C) vs Jon Moxley

Preview – Before the biggest match in AEW history goes down, this Saturday, “Le Champion”, Chris Jericho & challenger, Jon Moxley have their official weigh-in. Will we have a cordial weigh-in or will we have an all-out war before their championship match?

  • 30-minute Iron-Man Match – Kenny Omega vs PAC

Preview – The Omega-PAC feud began back at AEW’s PPV event “All Out” in August 2019…a match in which PAC won via doctor stoppage after he choked Omega unconscious. It’s a rivalry that’s boiled for several months now & it all culminates with a 30-minute Iron-Man match, tonight.

  • 6-man Tag-Team Match – Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz vs Junglesaurus, Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt

Preview – As the leader of the Inner Circle, Chris Jericho is busy preparing for his championship defense, this Saturday…the rest of the crew will take on Jungle Express in what promises to be a fast paced, high flying encounter.

  • Tag-Team Match – The Butcher & The Blade (with The Bunny) vs Best Friends (with Orange Cassidy)

Preview – After their interesting encounter during the tag-team battle royal, last week, Best Friends will seek revenge on the team that eliminated them from the match in The Butcher & The Blade.

NXT Preview

  • Singles Match – Charlotte Flair vs Bianca Belair

Preview – For the first time in over 4 years, Charlotte will have a match on NXT television as she faces Bianca Belair. 2 weeks ago at NXT TakeOver: Portland, Charlotte officially challenged NXT Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley to a title match at WrestleMania 36, in April. Immediately after, she attacked Ripley but didn’t stop there…she threw Belair into the steel steps on her way to the backstage area. Last week on NXT, Belair called out the self proclaimed Queen & Flair has obliged & we’ll see what happens when they lock horns, tonight.

  • Singles Match – Tommaso Ciampa vs Austin Theory

Preview – Last week, Ciampa interrupted Theory’s scheduled match to address Johnny Gargano’s actions against him at NXT TakeOver: Portland that cost him the NXT World Championship when Theory tried to sneak attack Ciampa but got brutally attacked by the former NXT Champion. Tonight, Theory looks for his revenge.

  • Singles Match – Dominik Dijakovic vs Cameron Grimes

Preview – Over the weekend, Dijakovic & Grimes had a very heated confrontation, backstage at a NXT Live event, which has led to a match, tonight, on NXT.
