Watch: Terrence Ross fined $25,000 for throwing ball into stands

After the Orlando Magic lost to the Phoenix Suns in overtime, 122-120 Magic’s Terrence Ross wasn’t too happy.

Ross was so frustrated after the game, he chucked the ball into the crowd. And well even though it was right at the end of the game the NBA has still decided to fine Ross.

I couldn’t find anything that Ross has said yet regarding the fine. All sports leagues need to settle down on the fines. Even though these athletes are paid millions, it’s a bit ridiculous to find someone $25,000. Hopefully that money is put to charity.

From the NBA:

Orlando Magic guard-forward Terrence Ross has been fined $25,000 for throwing the game ball into the spectator stands, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred at the conclusion of the Magic’s 122-120 overtime loss to the Phoenix Suns on Dec. 26.

This marked the Magic’s fourth straight loss. Tonight they take on the Toronto Raptors. Ross’s former team.

Now from this angle and the only video we could find honestly…. it looks as if he is just throwing the ball to the other hoop… Which we honestly see at the end of every quarter.

It would be nice to see this from another angle. Maybe it hit a fan? Hopefully.
