Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets refuses to comply with NYC’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, so the team released a statement saying Irving will not play or practice with the team until his vaccination status changes. Irving’s choice not to get vaccinated has been explained as giving a voice to the voiceless rather than being anti-science or anti-vaccine. He is upset that people are losing their jobs due to the vaccine mandates.

Sports critics have erupted with criticism and are eviscerating the NBA player on the internet.

Not one afraid of controversy, Stephen A Smith has been going scorched earth on Irving since his decision and has again roasted him on live television. Smith explained he doesn’t understand Irving’s choice of convincing players to come to the Nets and then leaving them high and dry with his stance.

Take a look for yourself:

Irving has yet to respond to Smith, but Smith doesn’t seem to be letting off anytime soon.
