With less than 30 laps to go late in the NASCAR Darlington 500 km race Wednesday night, one driver showed some displeasure to one another after getting spun and crashed.
At Darlington Speedway in South Carolina, Cup series driver Chase Elliott (#9) showed fellow driver Kyle Busch (#18) the finger after getting taken out by Busch on the front straightaway.
Let’s say it might have been worth it for the Georgia native.
According to the crash video above, Busch appeared to have turned right into Elliott, spinning and crashing him out.
Busch would go on to say after the race was called due to rain that he admitted it was a mistake on his part, as he stated he was trying to get in line behind Elliott.
So apparently, #NASCARIsBack just went a whole new direction after crash and episode. Just exactly what the returning sport needs more of.
