Wasps have once more overhauled their entire starting line-up ahead of Tuesday night’s visit of Sale Sharks to the Ricoh Arena (5.30pm).

None of the team that went from the start against Worcester last time out retain their starting roles as head coach Lee Blackett reverts to the same line-up that defeated Northampton Saints in round 14.

The first of the midweek Gallagher Premiership matches post-restart kicks off on Tuesday, beginning with third-placed Wasps hosting fourth-placed Sale Sharks.After a 32-17 win over Worcester last Friday, Lee Blackett’s Wasps starting line-up reverts almost entirely to the side which beat Northampton Saints 34-21 two weekends ago.

The only change is Jeff Toomaga-Allen comes in for the injured Kieran Brookes at tighthead. Malakai Fekitoa returns from his one-match suspension for receiving a hat-trick of yellow cards this term for four play offences.

There are more changes on the bench, however, as former Exeter Chiefs’ prop Jack Owlett is set for his first minutes since December’s victory over Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate, while Academy fly-half Charlie Atkinson could make his debut. The teenager has been with Wasps since 2016 and has England U18 honours. He has featured for the A team this season.
