The Chicago Cubs-Chicago White Sox inter-city rivalry has gone for many years with bad blood and good competition that occurred on the field.

However, that type of bad blood has spilled out into the stands of Guaranteed Rate Field in the south side of the Windy City.

In last Saturday’s game, there were multiple fights that broke out during the game. One of them was tipped out to social media.

According to a story by Detroit’s 97.1 the Ticket, the fight mentioned in a video began when a White Sox fan threw a beer can at a Cubs fan. That fan threw it back to the agitator, where it hits him square in the face.

Videos posted by Barstool Chicago seen several fans of both the Cubs and White Sox fighting with one another and some of them had to be restrained.

The fights have gotten much worse as it spilled out to the concourse of the stadium.

As a result, two women were reported to have resisted arrest within the melee.

Even though it was a wild and heated night in the south side, the Cubs would go on to win 6-3, on route to taking a weekend split with their rivals.
