“Sugar” Sean O’Malley is coming off a TKO win in round three against Kris Moutinho at UFC 264. O’Malley is 14-1 in the UFC’s bantamweight division and has strung together two wins a row.
O’Malley is making headlines again, but this time it’s for his actions outside of the octagon. O’Malley paid homage to rapper, Tekashi 69, by getting a ‘69’ tattoo on his shoulder. O’Malley also posted a photo hanging out with Tekashi 69 in Miami. Who knew these two were such good friends? What an odd pairing.
O’Malley has previously explained how his colorful hair was inspired by the rapper and what a fan he is of his antics. “I’m a fan he’s a character that is – his character is working…And then about the hair. Before we even knew 69, my debut we talked about let’s do my hair like crazy, so the hair was definitely a little bit inspired, but dude his hair looks sick.”
O’Malley is making a name for himself by establishing an interesting and flashy style that separates him from the rest of the roster. His occasional showboating and confident fighting style in the octagon makes him a fan favorite.
