One NASCAR crew chief and Upper Peninsula native was a featured guest on former Most Popular Driver and racing analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s podcast just recently.

On YouTube, Bark River native and current crew chief for driver Alex Bowman, Greg Ives, was brought on to the podcast for a interview with Dale Jr. and his media outlet, Dirty Mo Media.

In the videos of the episode, Ives shares his experiences racing in the Upper Peninsula, how car owner Rick Hendrick reached out to him for a job, and what the U. P. is like in general.

Ives is known for being an Xfinity Series championship-winning crew chief with eventual Cup Series champion Chase Elliott in 2014, and was the crew chief for Earnhardt Jr. for his final season in 2017.

He presently has six career wins as a NASCAR Cup Series crew chief with Earnhardt Jr. and Bowman.

NOTE: We will post the upload of the full interview between Ives and Dale Jr. when it becomes available.
