Philadelphia Phillies short stop Trea Turner is out of the starting lineup for today’s game against the San Diego Padres.
Turner started both games since his return from the IL. Edmundo Sosa will start at short stop and bat seventh against the Padres.
Hopefully, this just a day off after playing two straight games, but Turner did come out of last night’s game for the ninth inning.
Turner has 3 hits in 10 at bats since coming off the IL on Monday.
The Phillies look to go for the series sweep over the Padres today at 1:05 pm.
