The Knicks had their first playoff game since 2013 last night. With the Garden allowing 15,000 fans, the place was rocking.

Plus, the Knicks fans made sure to welcome Trae Young to New York.

The Hawks jumped on the Knicks early, leading 24-16 after one quarter. From then on out, the game was neck and neck. The Knicks fans just don’t learn, that chant just pissed Trae Young off and he went OFF. Young went for 32/7/10, was perfect from the free throw line and shot 47.8% from the field in his first playoff game. Young became the first player to at least have 25 points and ten assists in his playoff debut since D-rose did it. Young also became the fourth player to score 30 points and ten assists in his playoff debut. If that isn’t impressive enough, Young also came up big and hit the game-winning shot.

What a playoff debut for Trae Young and what a game. Can’t wait for game two.
