76-year old Baseball Hall of Famer Tony La Russa has been in the news recently for a few reasons. For starters, he was hired to manage the Chicago White Sox after being retired for a number of years.

La Russa was also recently charged with a DUI. A DUI that the White Sox reportedly knew about.

Jeff Passan was able to obtain the arrest transcript, and it was Hall of Fame worthy in its own right.

“Do you see my ring?” La Russa said to the arresting officer. “I’m a Hall of Famer baseball person. I’m legit. I’m a Hall of Famer, brother.”

“I’m a Hall of Famer, Brother”.

That is awesome.

La Russa is alledgedly a dirt bag and has no business managing a baseball team in 2021 at his age. But the White Sox don’t seem to be bothered.

Chicago has an up and coming team, but La Russa could be getting in the way of them making any progress.
