Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “Tokyo Princess Cup 2020” tournament results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 on 8/15/20 at Kanda Myojin Hall live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE:

Moka Miyamoto is out of action this weekend after suffering from what is believed to be possible heat stroke.

Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma, and Haruna Neko beat Mirai Maiumi, Suzume, and Sena Shiori when Tatsumi pinned Shiori after a Twist of Fate.

Yuki Kamifuku and Mahiro Kiryu beat Pom Harajuku and Hikari Noa when Kiryu pinned Harajuku after a spine buster.

Yuka Sakazaki and Raku beat Mina Shirakawa and Himawari Unagi when Sakazaki submitted Unagi to a trapped arms hold.

Mizuki pinned Yuki Aino with the Cutie Special in a TPC quarterfinals match.

Maki Itoh pinned Miu Watanabe after two Flying Big Heads from separate corners in a TPC quarterfinals match.

Shoko Nakajima pinned Natsumi Maki after a diving senton in a TPC quarterfinals match.

Miyu Yamashita pinned Hyper Misao after an Attitude Adjustment and the Crash Rabbit Heat in a TPC semifinals match. Yamashita forgot that she was supposed to do a promo to close the show like every TJPW main event winner traditionally does. She walked to the locker room after the match then ran back out to the ring several seconds later to do it. She admitted she forgot it was the main event and told the fans to keep cheering for her so she can win the tournament.

Semifinals take place on 8/16 (which is at 11pm EST on 8/15) with Mizuki vs. Maki Itoh and Shoko Najajima vs. Miyu Yamashita. The finals are on 8/29. Both will be live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

They’re having a non-tournament show on 8/22 at Itabashi Green Hall. It will air tape delayed on WRESTLE UNIVERSE VOD on 8/28.
