Titillating 2020 “Can’t Understand Normal Thinking” Award Winner Revealed!

It’s time to announce the 2020 winner for the “Can’t Understand Normal Thinking” Award. This is my way to honor the individual or entity whose complete cluelessness and combined audacity makes people want to slap some sense into them.

2020 provided lots of potential candidates (all mentioned here) and despite the nominations coming in late, there were still two individuals I wish I could have included (Pro Wrestling Torch’s Bruce Mitchell and the Senate’s Mitch “The Bitch” McConnell).

Sadly there was no time to add them, but this year’s contestants are all good representatives of the idea that some people just can’t understand normal thinking. Whether it’s ignorance, arrogance, or a combination of the two, every contestant showed a lot of the wrong stuff.

There can only be one winner and this year’s pick epitomized everything about the contest, someone who is both clueless and incredibly arrogant, so much so that his mindless actions put businesses on life support and sent thousands to their deaths. Of course, I’m talking about New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

As I wrote about “Emperor Andy” earlier this month.

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo aka “Emperor Andy” used the coronapocalypse as his platform for painting himself as savior to the state, failing miserably when he signed nursing home patients’ death warrants by sending COVID cases to nursing homes where the vulnerable population caught COVID-19 and died in a move that should never have happened. The Wall Street Journal

article titled New York Sent Recovering Coronavirus Patients to Nursing Homes: ‘It Was a Fatal Error’ sums up Emperor Andy’s asinine (and fatal) move. King Cuomo’s “do as I say, not as I do” policy of telling New Yorkers to wear face masks while ditching them to showcase his ugly mug became a subject of satire.

Congratulations to Cuomo, a hypocrite, asshole, and the personification of the can’t understand normal thinking phenomenon.
