Giving back. Something that always feels good. Something that TikTok star Josh Richards has been doing recently on Giving Tuesday.
Last week he was able to give out 50 blankets to people of less fortunate. And this Tuesday he was joined with Bryce Hall to giveaway food and drinks to the homeless.
Richards and Hall gave out food from Chipotle and they also gave out their energy drink, ANI Energy.
“One of Ani Energy’s core values is community — from the tens of millions of fans that follow Bryce and Josh online every day, to their home of the city of Los Angeles,” Swan Sit, CMO of Ani, said in a statement. “Giving Tuesday isn’t just one day a year for us. These young entrepreneurs and Ani Energy strive to have a larger impact on the world.”
“It is surreal to be able to give back at all, let alone by utilizing the companies we’ve co founded and invested in to do so. Last week, through my portfolio company Unhide, we were able to give 50 blankets to the less fortunate to keep them warm at night.“
“This time, Bryce and I got to use Ani Energy, our energy drink company, to give food and drink to people that were hungry. The homeless struggle in LA is real and I feel a calling to help where I can. Never in a million years did I think we would be in the position to give back and make an impact like this, especially not via my own companies. I am so blessed and can’t thank everyone enough for helping me get to this place. Thank you, Chipotle, for donating the food. This was a special and humbling experience.”
Bryce Hall added: “As a 21 year old, to be able to give back is a really cool feeling. We are blessed to be able to use our platforms to help people. I hope that everyone enjoyed their meal and I look forward to giving back more in the future.”
Josh Richards also made a huge move today announcing that he is joining REMUS As Venture Partner! Richards has been making a lot of big moves lately from announcing the energy drink, a new podcast with Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports, becoming a Venture Partner, and many other moves coming soon. Richards, 18, is taking the industry to another level.
“One of the reasons I became an entrepreneur and investor is to actively shape the future,” Richards said. “I am excited to join the REMUS Capital team, a firm that represents my core values of unequivocally helping young founders achieve their dreams.”
“It may not appear like it from the outside, but Krishna and I both have a lot of common factors on our journeys. At a young age, we both took risks to pursue something greater than ourselves. There are others, but that common denominator alone is why I am extremely excited to be working with him and REMUS. He gets it!”
