The Atlanta Braves got themselves their closer as they acquired pitcher Shane Greene from the Detroit Tigers.
According to the MLB Pipeline on Twitter, the Tigers send their closer to Cobb County in exchange for pitcher Joey Wentz and outfielder Travis Demeritte.

Greene enters the Braves listed fourth in the American League with 1.12 ERA and a WHIP of less than 0.8.
As Atlanta’s seventh-ranked prospect, Wentz is left-handed pitcher with 4.98 ERA in Double-A Mississippi.
While Demeritte is a utility player who can play in the outfield as well as second and third base. He was batting a .286 this season in Triple-A Gwinnett.
