I don’t even know where to begin with this right here. I’m not lying when I say my jaw dropped when I came across this tweet. I’ve seen a lot of stupid things on Twitter since joining in 2009, but this one takes the cake with EASE.
Let’s get one thing straight, the West Coast is the WORST time zone to watch sports in. There is literally not a single debate for it being better. I once had to watch March Madness in Mexico (rough life) and honestly, it ruined my March Madness that year. Games start at 9am and being in Mexico, I barely made it out of bed by 9am. The final game was done by 9pm and I vividly remember sitting at the bar looking at my friends and asking them, “now what?” We just sat there and drank and had to talk. I didn’t want to talk. I wanted to watch basketball until midnight. I had this stolen from me due to west coast time.
I live in the central time zone. I say this with unbelievable confidence that this is easily the best time zone to watch sports in. I don’t think its even a competition. This is all besides the point. I am still just flabbergasted at the fact that this man, Mitch Moss, thinks that the west coast is the best time zone to watch sports in. I don’t know this man, but after reading this single tweet, I don’t think I ever want to get to know this man because I would be infuriated by his presence. I think it’s only fair for him to delete his twitter because his opinions are just ridiculous and outlandish and we don’t need this type of nonsense in the dark year of 2020.
