Remember the famous ‘General Lee’ car and the late 1970s-early 80s TV show, Dukes of Hazzard?

Well if you would like to see the car and the Dukes’s escapades up close and personal with its great stunts, you are in luck.

Jess Rose, of Escanaba, posted on Facebook early Saturday afternoon that the General Lee and the Northeast Ohio Dukes show is coming to this year’s U.P. State Fair.

Titled from the show’s website as ‘the Hazzard County Stunt Show,’ the event is a live-show car stunt show that is literally a real-life episode of the original TV series in front of a big audience. The show will feature cars turning over, police car chases, car skiing, and the famous ‘grand finale’ jump.

It will feature a lot of the main characters such as Bo and Luke Duke, Daisy Duke, Boss Hogg, and Uncle Jesse.

The show is scheduled to be in action on the fair’s last day on Sunday, August 23rd (Family Day). The scheduled start time is slated for 2 p.m. The 2020 U.P. State Fair is set for August 17th to the 23rd.

Here are a few YouTube videos of how the ‘good ole boys’ do their stunts at their past prior shows.
