According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Miami Dolphins are signing RB Sony Michel. Michel, 27, played college football at Georgia and was selected by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Michel was traded to the Los Angeles Rams on August 25, 2021, in exchange for a fifth and sixth round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and went on the win the Super Bowl with the team. He led the Rams in rushing during the regular season with 845 yards on the ground. Despite being the lead rusher for the regular season, Sony Michel only had two attempts during the Super Bowl, likely due to RB Cam Akers coming back from an achilles injury very early.
