The Detroit Lions Have An Opportunity Sunday To Prove They’re A Different Team Under Matt Patricia

The Detroit Lions season didn’t start the way they wanted after a tie week one to the Arizona Cardinals but that tie might have been a big lesson learned. As week two and week three went just as planned as the Lions beat the Chargers and Eagles.

Sunday will be the biggest test for the team as Patrick Mahomes and the red hot Kansas City Chiefs come into Ford Field. This is Mahomes first time playing inside of a Dome. There are analysts saying it’ll benefit him and some saying it’ll hurt him, in my opinion I don’t think it will benefit him or hurt him….

Unless it’s because of Detroit’s fans being too loud. I expect it to be LOUD. Especially after the comments from former Green Bay Packer James Jones:

If I was in charge…. I’d have that clip play before the game and maybe before a big defensive stop is needed. Go LIONS!

I’ve been saying the Lions franchise is changing under Matt Patricia and Sunday Detroit has an opportunity to show it. Detroit defense is going to get tested early and all game. Mike Daniels is out for Detroit, which is a key factor for the Lions defensive line, can the Lions step up?

I believe so.

Now if it was “SOL” Detroit would end up getting stomped or else will find a way to lose. It’ll be 3rd and 10 and a screen pass 99.9% of the time. And Detroit won’t stop the TE. But… I don’t think Detroit is the “SOL”… Btw.. that means same old Lions.

Lions win 34 – 27. Oh… Btw… We’re first in the division! (3-0-1)?
