The Bulls have a new general manager in Marc Eversley, this is his first draft, and if he does this move, it would be an awful start. This would be a steal for the Warriors. Carter is a force on the defensive end, averaging 1.1 blocks per game in his first two seasons of play. On the offensive end, Carter averaged 11.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per game on 53.4% shooting last season. Carter is only 21, with all-star potential, and could help bring the Bulls back to prominence in the future, if they don’t trade him.

Carter has struggled to remain on the court in his first two seasons. Only playing 44 games his rookie year, and his second season missed 21 games with thumb, tailbone, and ankle injuries. But he’s proven when healthy he’s a force on both ends of the court.

This would be awful trade for the Bulls. This draft has potential, but nothing compared to years past. It’s one of the weaker drafts in recent memory. The Bulls have the number four pick, it’s been rumored the Bulls want Deni Avdija, who will most likely be available at four. Why trade up to two and trade one of your young important pieces in a draft that isn’t considered great. Wait it out at four, and keep your young players.
