Teremana Tequila- Taste Review! @therock @teremana

Spread the love

I am a big fan of tequila and have been drinking it for over fifteen years now. My tequila collection is quite vast, with over 40 bottles of high end products. Whether its silver, reposado, you name it. It’s on my shelf. After a long waiting period, I finally got the chance to try some Teremana tequila. I’m not sure if it is just hard to get in Virginia, but I can never find it on the shelves at the local ABC store. With that said, a friend of mine was in San Diego recently and was able to acquire some. For those of you that don’t know, the Founder of Teremana is none other than the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Review: Teremana Reposado

The appearance has a pale straw color, and the smell of both agave and oak were very prevalent. I would also say there was a mild hint of vanilla and caramel somewhere in there. You can definitely taste the agave, but it is mixed with just the right amount of sweetness. The vanilla is in there for sure, along with some citrus like notes. The finish was very balanced with a bit of the citrusy notes lingering, which I loved.

Review: Teremana Blanco

The very first smell I get is grapefruit, and then of course the wonderful scent of agave. I even get a little bit of lemon peel. You can definitely taste the agave the moment you sip it, along with some lemon zest and vanilla. In my opinion, the finish was very clean and did not linger too much, which I love in a blanco. The finish seemed comprised of agave nectar, citrus notes and maybe even a hint of chocolate?

The bottom line here is that Teremana Blanco and Reposado are “must buys” whether you are a Tequila Connoisseur or just trying Tequila for the first time. The Rock has founded a fantastic product and you can see the enthusiasm and love for this spirit in his eyes when he shares it with the world. Both Teremana Blanc and Reposado will always have a place on my top shelf!
