The Tennessee Titans made headlines recently at the running back position. It seems as if NFL teams have been releasing players left and right all season long, and the Titans are no different. It was announced on November 23rd that the Tennessee Titans had released back up running back and future NFL Hall of Famer, Adrian Peterson.

In other Tennessee Titans news, star running back Derrick Henry is still recovering from recent foot surgery. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel had the following to say on Henry’s rehab process.

“He’s on an Injured Reserve program,” Vrabel said. “So, he comes in … and starts treatment (when other players are in meetings). … He is around, he is around the guys. I see him in the training room, and he is working hard to do everything he can to get back.”

Titans running backs coach Tony Dews had the following to say on Henry’s mindset during the rehab process:

“It’s more of going in there just to see him, say hello to him and let him know that we obviously still care, think about him everyday. Just a regular conversation; doesn’t even necessarily talk about football,” Dews said. “He seems to be doing great. He’s in good spirits, he’s working hard. He’s his normal self.”
