The Wildcats are led by veteran quarterback Josh Johnson. Johnson has been playing professionally since 2008 and has been on 15 different NFL teams in some capacity.

Johnson missed the first game of the year but returned in week two and has ignited this offense. Johnson is second in the XFL in most passing categories, despite missing the first game of the year and owns an impressive 11 touchdown to two interception ratio. Overall Johnson has brought his team to second in the league in passing yardage and points scored.

The Wildcats’ defense has been a problem and is the reason why they are 2-3 and not 4-1 at this point of the season. They are currently allowing more points than any other team in the league.

That being said, they have the offensive firepower to out shoot most teams in the league. They are sitting at 2-3 and locked in a battle with 2-3 Dallas and 1-4 Seattle for the second playoff spot in the West.

If Johnson continues to play the way he has and the defense can keep creating turnovers, I expect this team to outpace Dallas and make it to the XFL playoff.
