Super Mega Baseball 2: Ultimate Edition Comes Out Swinging On Nintendo Switch Next Week

When it comes to baseball games on Nintendo Switch, you don’t really have too many options available. There’s RBI Baseball 19 and…well, RBI Baseball 18…? And that’s really about it. But Metalhead Software will fix that next week, as it’ll bring its superb baseball sim Super Mega Baseball 2: Ultimate Edition to Nintendo’s system in fine form.

The first trailer for the game is below, and it’ll come jam packed with all of the fine features of the main game, along with all its additional DLC in one package. And it runs beautifully in both handheld and docked form, so you can play it in 60 frames per second wherever you go. And you can play along with your friends locally or take on your friends as well in online play. So it looks like you’ll have no excuse when it comes to playing ball!

The game will go for $29.99. And for those that haven’t picked it up on other platforms yet, you’ll be able to do so at a great price next week as well. A special Ultimate Edition will also be on hand for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on the same date, going for $29.99 as well and including the base edition and all its DLC content as well.

Check out the trailer below, and be ready to “play ball!” with one of the best sports games out there. It’s really a lot of fun!
