STARDOM results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Korakuen Hall on 7/26/20:

The company announced that Maika and Himeka are now full time roster members. Maika left Taka Michinoku’s Just Tap Out group with his blessing.

Itsuki Hoshino will retire due to injuries. She just made her debut in November 2019 and last wrestled in March.

Hanan and Ruaka will return to action next month. Hanan has been out with injuries since May 2019. Ruaka has been away since March, just before the company went on hiatus because of the virus pandemic.

Saki Kashima pinned Hina with the My Emblem in 4:15.

Natsuko Tora and Sumire Natsu beat Death Yama-san and Rina when Tora pinned Rina after a diving body press in 7:12.

Momo Watanabe pinned Maika after a diving somato in 10:39.

Syuri and Himeka beat Mayu Iwatani and Saya Iida when Syuri pinned Iida after a Buzzsaw Kick in 13:21. Syuri made a challenge to Iwatani for the World of STARDOM Title after the match.

Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano, Starlight Kid, Natsuko Tora, Saki Kashima, Jungle Kyona, Konami, Death Yama-san, Giulia, Maika, Syuri, Himeka, Momo Watanabe, Utami Hayashishita, AZM, and Saya Kamitani will be in this year’s 5-Star Grand Prix Tournament which starts on 8/8/20 at Korakuen Hall.

AZM won the High Speed Title in a 3-Way Match over Riho (the champion coming in) and Starlight Kid by pinning Kid in 7:10 with the Azumi Sushi.

Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani won the vacant Goddesses of STARDOM Titles from Jungle Kyona and Konami when Hayashishita pinned Konami with a German Suplex after Kyona accidentally hit Konami with a lariat in 14:28. Himeka and Maika made a challenge for the first title shot afterwards. Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter were forced to give up the titles several days ago because they can’t fly to Japan from the United Kingdom due to travel restrictions caused by the virus pandemic.

Giulia won the vacant Wonder of STARDOM Title from Tam Nakano by referee stoppage in 28:27 when Nakano passed out while in a submission hold. Syuri, Maika, and Himeka got in the ring to celebrate with Giulia after the match. Arisa Hoshiki retired due to injuries on 5/20/20 and vacated the title.

STARDOM’s landscape in 2020 was forced to change because of roster retirements, the virus pandemic causing shows to be postponed and talent stuck in other countries, and the tragic passing of Hana Kimura. The current champions are as follows:

World of STARDOM Champion- Maya Iwatani

Wonder of STARDOM Champion- Giulia

Goddesses of STARDOM Champions- Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani

Artists of STARDOM Champions- Giulia, Syuri, and Maika

Future of STARDOM Champion- Maika

High Speed Champion- AZM

SWA Champion- Jamie Hayter

Thanks to Tomi Yamada for sending in the results.
