According to a source of our very own Brad Shepard (and one that is not Brad Shepard), the New York team in Vince McMahon’s XFL football league will be named the “Vipers”.

The names will be announced tomorrow so this is big inside news.
The name Vipers brings back memories of the power house Detroit Vipers that played in some weird semi-pro league that may or may not exist anymore. The Detroit Vipers played in a retrofitted Palace of Auburn Hills back in the day.
Hope the other teams in the leagues have names as bad ass as this.
