Shawn Kemp To Open Up Cannabis Shop In Seattle

The six-time all-star, Shawn Kemp is getting into the cannabis business. Kemp’s store will be Seattle’s first black-owned cannabis store. What better place to do it than in the city he dominated in. The store is set to open up next week, Friday, October 30th. Former teammate Gary Payton will be at the grand opening along with Kemp. To no one’s surprise, Kemp is excited to sell hemp.

“I’m looking forward to welcoming Sonics fans on a regular basis, starting with opening day,” Kemp said in a news release. “I hope that Shawn Kemp’s Cannabis will be an inspiration for people to get involved with the legal cannabis industry, especially people of color.”

So awesome to see. Kemp goes from dominating the NBA in the ’90s to selling cannabis in the same town he dominated in. I mean talk about a wild life, that’s everyone’s dream. Well, it’s at least mine. Seriously, good for Kemp, he is living the dream.
