Adrian Peterson is going to get another chance to potentially play in the NFL again.
On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks are signing Peterson to their practice squad.
With Chris Carson ruled out for the rest of the season due to a neck injury, the Seahawks were looking for reinforcements to go along with Alex Collins, Rashaad Penny, Travis Holmes and DeeJay Dallas.
Earlier in the season, Peterson signed with the Tennessee Titans to their practice squad and was elevated to the regular roster. He had 27 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football.
Peterson was signed because Derrick Henry needed surgery on his foot, but after three weeks, he was released by the Titans. Now he’ll get a chance to see if he can make the Seahawks roster.
