Is nothing sacred anymore? After our country was forced to suffer through the tainted steroid era in baseball, now our beloved race horses are shooting up too.

According to the New York Times, Justify tested positive multiple times for the drug Scopolamine.

Justify was just the 13th horse to win horse racing’s triple crown in the last 100 years, winning the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes in 2018.

The horse racing board was in on it too. After Justify tested positive for Scopolamine, the board voted to dismiss the case and changed the penalty from disqualification, to a possible fine and suspension.

This was a big time cover up job.

With all of the pressure to perform and win people money, it is a shame that these horses are now making the conscious decision to cheat. What kind of example is this setting for the kids?
