Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley on an appearance on the 94WIP Morning Show yesterday made it known that he’s fired up and feels rejuvenated.
“It has definitely been a fresh start for me, that’s probably been the biggest blessing,” Barkley told the 94WIP Morning Show on Thursday.
Barkley also said, “I love the way things are run here from top to bottom. I think coach does a really good job of focusing on his players and listening to his players.”
Barkley talked about Eagles fans and the passion that they have for the team.
“I don’t truly know if other places are doing something like that. You can just feel the passion,” on 50k fans coming to practice.
Barkley signed as a free agent with the Eagles on March 13, 2024. He has 5,211 yards on 1,201 carries with 35 rushing touchdowns. Barkley also has 288 catches and 12 receiving touchdowns in six year career.
Barkley stated, “Super excited and thankful for Howie & just thank God for giving me this.”
The Eagles open the regular season on Friday, September 6 at 8:15 PM in Sao Paulo, Brazil against the Green Bay Packers.
