Ryan Howard Belts Home Run At Hall Of Fame Classic

Former Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard crushed a home run on Saturday at Doubleday Field in a tribute to the Negro Leagues All-Star Game.

The game was titled 2024 East-West Classic. Howard played on the East team. He was joined on the team by two other former Phillies, Doug Glanville and Tony Gwynn Jr. 

Howard was named the MVP of the 2024 exhibition game. He led his team to a 5-4 victory.

Howard is a former three-time All-Star, NL MVP and Rookie of the Year Award winner. He finished his 13 year career with a 382 home runs and 1,194 RBIs. He was a member 2008 World Series championship team.
