When the news first broke that Russell Wilson was unhappy with the organization for not better protecting him with a good offensive line, many people went and rolled with it. Considering the relationship with the organization has been solid all of his career most people never thought Wilson could possibly be traded. It was reported many teams in the NFL believe the asking price for him starts at three first round picks.

Plenty of teams around the league could use Russell Wilson. Starting with the 49ers who aren’t sold on Jimmy Garoppolo and are looking to upgrade the quarterback spot. You can’t deny the stats, Wilson has been balling in Seattle with no protection and minimum receiver talent.

In my opinion, the Seattle Seahawks aren’t going to trade Russell, unless they wanna be stuck in a rebuild in the next 5 years, and with Pete Carroll being the oldest coach in the league, he wants to win now and Wilson gives him the chance to do that.

Not to mention trading Wilson would require the Seahawks to take on $39 million of dead money onto their cap.
