When I first heard the news about Rob Gronkowski setting a world record, I didn’t even need to know what it was that he did. Quite frankly, it could have been just about anything.

Earlier today, Gronk visited his alma mater at the University of Arizona whereby he was supposed to be a guest coach at a scrimmage. Gronk walked out onto the field with shoulder pads and a helmet to the dismay of those at the scrimmage. High up above the field, a helicopter hovered 600 hundred feet and started to throw balls down to Gronk. He missed the first two attempts and showed his frustration by slamming his helmet onto the ground after one of the failed attempts. But the third time was a charm as he caught the ball and was swarmed by all of the players after successfully doing so. Rob Gronkowski is now in the Guinness Book of World Records for catching the highest altitude thrown ball in history.

“Every time you step on the field, you’ve got to raise the bar to another level, baby,” Gronkowski said. “And I just raised that bar to this level.”

That’s not the only news circulating in the NFL today. Yesterday, a prominent Pittsburgh Steelers player was arrested and is now facing a felony gun charge. Click the link below to learn more about it.
