Ric Flair isn’t exactly the most popular person these days.

A few months ago on the documentary, “Dark Side of the Ring,” Flair was accused of sexual assault on the episode “Plane Ride from Hell,” in which a flight attendant told a story about Flair and the public reaction was not well received.

Since then, WWE has all but severed ties with Flair, including editing his famous “Woo!” out of the opening video for WWE. There was rumblings of Flair joining AEW to manage his future son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, but those have all but ended.

Flair has since been defending his honor and legacy in social media, especially on Twitter, where he tries to convince the wrestling community and the world that he is still the same person he always has been, but not everyone is buying it.

Recently, Flair went on Twitter and said the WWE is erasing his legacy from the wrestling world and also wants them to return two of his title belts that they currently have in possession.

Flair’s daughter, Charlotte Flair, is still employed by WWE and is the current Smackdown Women’s Champion. Although, Charlotte has been ruffling the feathers of a lot of her fellow co-workers backstage with reported attitude issues.

Either way, it just shows how far Flair’s image has fallen with the wrestling industry, no matter how hard he tries to defend it.
