Robert Griffin III was drafted by the Washington Football Team in 2012 and had one of the best rookie years by a quarterback ever. He ended up winning 2012 offensive rookie of the year and took Washington on a seven game winning streak at the end of the season to get them to the playoffs.

However, RGIII had a knee injury during a game against the Ravens. Kirk Cousins had to come into the game and relieve RGIII. Washington ended up winning that game and getting to the playoffs to play the Seattle Seahawks.

RGIII felt good and was set to return for the home playoff game against Seattle but some and maybe himself knew he was not ready to play in that game. He ended up going down late in the game and tore his ACL. Washington lost that playoff game and RGIII was never the same again. He played for Washington up until 2015 while having multiple injuries along the way being replaced by Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy.

RGIII has officially announced that he’s coming out with a new book titled ‘Surviving Washington’ and will expose all the things he went through during his time with the team.

The world has been going crazy over this all morning and I understand why.

If you wanted to expose Washington and had important information on them, wouldn’t you have come out with that already and not use it as a promo for your new book? Just saying. Interesting.

ALSO, You were JUST asking to come back to the team not long ago…

Does RGIII think things just go away? He knows that social media is a big thing now and we can go back and get his tweets when he was ASKING to go back to a team that he now wants to expose? Interesting.

I like Robert but man does he self-sabotage a ton now and back in the day.

I’m excited to see how this plays out for him and Dan Snyder…
