Spread the love

2021 has not even a very good year for professional athletes. It seems that every couple days tragedy strikes a professional sports organization when we learn that either a current or former player has passed away.

Unfortunately tragedy most recently struck the Philadelphia Eagles when it was announced that former player William Byrne passed away.

He attended Boston College, where he played football and graduated with a degree in business. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1961 and spent five years in the NFL.

In other NFL news, former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens recently commented on Kyrie Irving’s stomping of the Boston Celtics logo a few weeks ago. Owens is remembered for spiking a football directly onto the Dallas Cowboys trademark star logo on the 50 yard line causing a massive uproar from Cowboy fans nationwide.

Check out the video below to see what exactly Owens had to say about the issue.
