That’s right, Detroit Lions fans.

The team announced earlier today that, along with offensive line coach Jeff Davidson, defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni is going to be ‘walking away’ from football.

The departures of Davidson and Pasqualoni are now nearing eight coaches that are being fired or leaving the team this offseason.

According to 97.1 The Ticket’s Mike ‘Sully’ Sullivan, Pasqualoni informed head coach Matt Patricia earlier this week that he was leaving to be closer to his family.

On social media, the reactions to the defensive coordinator leaving was almost overwhelmingly positive.

Now the search is on for a new defensive coordinator is on for Detroit. Hopefully, in my opinion, it would end up being Wade Phillips, Jerod Mayo, or maybe Marvin Lewis.
