Report: Lakers MUST Include Lonzo Ball In Trade With Pelicans For Anthony Davis

Charlie Mitelhaus reported that the New Orleans Pelicans were informed by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports that Anthony Davis doesn’t plan on signing an extension with the team this summer.

Right away.. Everyone jumped to here comes the trade. However, if the Lakers wanted to trade for Davis, the Lakers reportedly MUST include their Big Baller Brand, Lonzo Ball.

Hearing from sources if Lakers want Anthony Davis, who has requested a trade, LA has to start the deal with Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, No. 1 pick.

If this is what the Pelicans are actually looking for the Lakers better pull the trigger. LeBron and Davis will have a better shot at a Championship.

It might be hard to get rid of someone like Ball and Kuzma as they’re two bright young stars the future would be bright. But to the RING!

Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart are both 23 years old and will likely be playing in the Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star weekend.

Hopefully the Lakers find a way to keep Ball and maybe get rid of someone like Brandon Ingram? But the Pelicans are reportedly saying that they’d want Lonzo.

If the Lakers aren’t able to land another point guard if they trade Ball they’ll still be in a pretty tough situation at guard. Or could Rajon Rondo possibly hold the fort down in Los Angeles? Or could Jru Holiday be coming to Los Angeles?
