The Cleveland Browns stunned their fanbase last year going 11-5 and upsetting the Pittsburg Steelers, and almost taking down the Kansas City Chiefs. But in free agency they haven’t slowed down, signing John Johnson and Troy Hill from the Los Angeles Rams and now they’re currently in talks with free agent defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who is coming off a injury riddled season with no sacks and now plans to join a contender. It is being reported by ESPN that Clowney and the Cleveland browns are meeting for the second time and this time around contract talks are ‘progressing’ with a hope for a deal by Monday.

Clowney would give the Browns another good defensive end who can get pressures on the quarterback. He may not fill the stat sheet up but his football IQ speaks for itself. We’ll see if the Cleveland Browns have what it takes to make a Super Bowl for the first time in 40+ years. Ian Rapoport gave an update on the situation via his twitter.
