Playoff Justin Turner is always a constant reminder to Met fans that he was once on their beloved team. Crazy when you know the story of why he was ultimately DFA’D. The story goes in 2013 when he was cut from the team it was for their incumbent ace Matt Harvey’s benefit because Turner ‘allegedly’ was a negative influence on Harvey. That is funny because after Justin Turner was cut from the team Matt Harvey became a party animal and a coke head, but I guess that is neither here nor their. This is just a prototypical Met move. Just the epitome of a smuckie franchise.

Justin Turner is a tremendous postseason player and his numbers do not lie, and that story is continuing. The fact that the Mets gave up on him because of his potential detrimental influence on Harvey. This story is wild and a great ‘what if’ story. Poor Met fans.
