Today I will be ranking the NFL Players what I think have the best beards currently heading into the 2019-20 season. Let me know what you think in the comments. Am I missing someone? Tell me how it goes. Okay, here we go.
5) Baker Mayfield, Quarterback — Cleveland Browns
Mayfield is entering his second season as quarterback for Cleveland and he is sporting his new mustache look (see below). I personally think he looks great in a bushy beard style. His mustache should help him improve his game in some end, but we can accept his facial look with the way he plays.
4) Malcolm Jenkins, Safety — Philadelphia Eagles
Jenkins is known for keeping his beard not too long, trimmed enough so it looks long. Being the two-time Super Bowl champion that he is, his beard is reminded of James Harden, without the long hair.
3) Eric Weddle, Safety — Los Angeles Rams
He once had that long beard that sported for a long time when he was with the then-San Diego Chargers. Even when he trimmed it up during his time in Baltimore, he still has a top 5 beard.
He will take his hard-hitting ways over to the Rams this season, but his beard helps him make this list.
2) Jason Kelce, Center — Philadelphia Eagles
Kelce was known for his caveman look (long hair and big beard) that he had for a couple years. But since he cut a lot of it off, he’s almost a bigger version of his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. His beard is the one that is feared with especially for a guy that is talented on the offensive line as he is. He’s No. 2 for a very good reason.
And my number one best beard by a player is…
1) Ryan Fitzpatrick, Quarterback — Miami Dolphins
The famous quarterback journeyman is known for sporting the long scraggly beard, being the Conor McGregor look-alike and big personality that he is. In my opinion, he gets all the girls’ attention because he looks like he can sport a dad bod and would be honored. His long beard matches his personality and his career longevity very well.
He takes the cake as my number best beard by a player.
